The Power of Global Antibodies

• Global Antibodies are raised against peptides conserved  in the target proteins across a range of species. This intelligent design generates antibodies with quantitative target recognition across a defined  range of species.
• Global Quantitation Standards allow accurate measurement of levels  of the target protein from any species within the defined taxonomic range  because their target recognition region is precisely the same.
• Global Antibodies reliably measure the levels of key proteins even  in uncharacterized species or mixed communities.

Global Antibodies

• RbcL; Rubisco Large Subunit, Global Antibody (chicken) recognizing Form I L8S8
• RbcL; Rubisco Large Subunit, Global Antibody (rabbit) recognizing both Form I L8S8 and Form II L2
• Rubisco is a major protein pool in most oxygenic photoautotrophs; quantitation of RbcL allows estimation of the flux capacity for C fixation.
